Our visit to the Sinai Academy
Last week we visited the Sinai Academy in Bloubergrant. It was very new to me because I’ve never been to a Jewish school before.When we into the school this lady said all the boys had to wear this thing called a kippah which I thought was very cool and then she led all the girls and boys in our class and the other class that was with us into a synagogue.Then this guy came in and said the girls must sit on this side of the synagogue and the boys must sit on the other side of the synagogue.Then the guy said we must call him Rabbi.Then after we prayed and asked questions we went to the senior primary.At the senior primary they did a little show and we drank grape juice and ate bread.
